THE South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) is calling for members of the public to stand as appointed governors. Ten positions will be filled, with four from Hampshire.
Trevor Jones, chairman of SCAS, said: “Our Council of Governors is the voice of local people helping to set the strategic direction of the trust, based on members’ views, and holding the trust board to account.
“As a governor you will play an active part in your local ambulance service, represent your local community, and learn new skills.”
The closing date for nominations is next Thursday (October 31). For more information visit www.southcentral ambulance.nhs.uk.
