A HAMPSHIRE charity is challenging people to come up with the spookiest Hallowe’en events possible.
Naomi House Hospice, based near Winchester, is calling for supporters, businesses, schools and clubs to get involved in its Freaky Friday project on Friday (Oct 25) by staging fundraisers.
Fiona Hansford, Naomi House corporate accounts fundraiser, said: “Hallowe’en always provides people with a great chance to get really creative with their fundraising. Every year businesses, schools and clubs pull out all of the stops to raise money for us while having loads of fun.”
Suggestions include hosting a fancy dress party, a Hallowe’en cake sale or even an apple-bobbing tournament.
‘Trick or Treat’ boxes can also be ordered from Naomi House which contain sweets – but watch out – they could be soap-flavoured or even a piece of garlic.
All money raised goes to helping children with life-limiting conditions.
