Pompey favourite, Linvoy Primus, will talk about faith and football when he speaks at a Romsey church event next week.
Linvoy will be addressing a men only evening at the Abbey Hotel next Thursday (October 24), hosted by the New Life Church.
In his 20 years as a professional footballer, Linvoy, now 40, played for Reading, Charlton and Portsmouth.
While at Fratton Park, he won Fans’ Player of the Season and PFA Player of the Year in 2003. During his time at Portsmouth, he had a conversion to Christianity which completely transformed his life and he went on to found the Faith and Football Christian Charity.
He recently walked the Great Wall of China to raise £100,000 for the organisation. All men are invited to come and hear Linvoy’s inspirational story, free of charge.
