TWO Test Valley level crossings will be closed next month to allow Network Rail engineers to carry out repairs.
Kimbridge Lane level crossing, at Kimbridge, near Mottisfont, will be closed between 9pm on Saturday, November 9 and 7am the following Monday (November 11), while engineers install replacement drains beneath the crossing and check the tracks in the area.
The crossing will be closed for further work overnight on Monday, November 11 and the following night, Tuesday, November 12. Diversions will be set up via the A3057 and the B3084.
Work will be also be carried out at Mottisfont & Dunbridge Station crossing on Saturday, November 16, between 10.30pm on and 8.30am the following morning.
The B3084 Romsey to Broughton Road will be closed at Hatt Hill, Mottisfont, while the work is done. Diversions will be set up around the closure.
