TWO managers of a Winchester-based bus company have been shortlisted for this year’s UK Bus Awards.
Tom Waterhouse, formerly an operations manager, and Jason Rayner, a rail replacement manager, were nominated for the awards for their work at Stagecoach South.
Mr Waterhouse has been nominated in The Young Manager of the Year Award category and Mr Rayner has been nominated for The Unsung Heroes Award.
Andrew Dyer, managing director of Stagecoach South, said: “Tom and Jason have made significant contributions to Stagecoach and this is well deserved recognition for all the hard work, commitment and determination they have demonstrated.
“I am delighted they have both received independent recognition by being short listed for these national awards.”
The 18th annual UK Bus Awards ceremony will take place at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane in London on Tuesday, November 19.
The Stagecoach Group has received a total of 17 finalists nationwide.
