HISTORY lovers will be treated to three experts in one night in November.

Winchester Excavations and its Heritage will feature Professor Martin Biddle talking on Charlemagne, Jerusalem, and Old Minster.

Dick Selwood, chairman of WARG: Winchester Archaeology and Local History, will present Rescue to Research - the last 40 years in Winchester Archaeology, while Dr Simon Roffey, of the University of Winchester, will give a talk called The University of Winchester and the Excavations of the Hospital of St Mary Magdalen, Winchester.

The talks will be held at the Guildhall on Tuesday, November 26, at 6pm.
