BURGLARS stole jewellery valued at £5,000 from a house near Winchester.
They forced their way into a house, activating the burglar alarm, in Enmill Lane, Pitt, between 11.30am-3pm on Wednesday, October 9, police said today.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Winchester.
A man was seen cycling along Enmill Lane at around 2pm. He turned left up Romsey Road towards Winchester.
He is described as white, 20 to 30-years-old, short dark hair and wearing a black cycling helmet. The bike was a red mountain bike with chunky black tyres and the man was carrying a large white sack over the handle bars.
