SPEEDING motorists in Bishop’s Waltham beware.
The town will soon have its own speed indicator after parish councillors agreed to spend £5,000 on a new device for the town.
The equipment would be used to clock approaching motorists and show their speed on an LED display.
They are considered a relatively cheap method of speed management which aim to change drivers’ behaviour.
Rather than wait for funding from the city council, the cash will come from the parish reserves after they missed the boat in applying for the budget in the last financial year.
