A FORMER project manager died at home in South Wonston as a result of a serious head injury, an inquest heard.
The exact date that Colin Macleod fractured his skull could not be established, but he was found, unconscious, on the floor of his home in Goldfinch Way, South Wonston.
Grahame Short, coroner for central Hampshire, said it would have been at some point between when he was last seen, April 1, and when he was found on April 3.
He was discovered by his housekeeper, Helen Davies, who immediately called for help.
She told the coroner’s court on Wednesday (July 31), how she found him in his office with his feet tangled in wires under his desk.
He was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital but remained unconscious and died on April 8.
A verdict of accidental death was recorded.
