HIGHCLIFFE students visited Parliament meeting Winchester MP Steve Brine.
Fourteen pupils and three members of staff, including headteacher Nicky Osborne, of All Saints Primary School went to London for a Q&A session with the MP.
Mr Brine said: “I visited All Saints earlier this year and made the offer to have them visit Parliament so was delighted to actually have them here.
“I hope the children found it really interesting and learnt a little bit about their heritage and the history of Parliament.”
Chairman of governors, Ann Craig said: “They were given an excellent tour around Parliament and enjoyed the crowds, the scenery and the culture of the South Bank.”
An added bonus for the children was a chance meeting with C beebies star Mr Maker who signed autographs, much to their delight.
