AN Alresford pub has closed suddenly amid uncertainty over its future.
The Running Horse in Pound Hill shut for the last time on Friday evening.
It has been run for the last two years by Malc Evans and Hannah Newman.
On its Facebook page the couple said: “Thanks to all of our lovely customers who came to see us off last night. We're so grateful for your support over the last two years. This page will now be closed as the pub is unlikely to reopen again! Thanks to all.”
On its Twitter feed, they said: “The Running Horse opens its doors for the last time ever tonight at 5pm. After that the pub will be closed until it is sold!!”
