THERE’S a double bill of entertainment at King’s Somborne today (Saturday, July 27).
It’s the village’s annual horticultural show and companion dog show.
The horticultural show is at the village hall and the dog show on the nearby recreation ground Eileen Reynolds, who organises the dog show, said: “Once again, we are expecting an excellent turnout as we have had in previous years. This year, our judge will be Sue Ergis, who has bred both basset hounds and short-haired miniature dachshunds to champion level. She is an experienced judge and in 2000 she judged basset hounds at Crufts.”
There will be six pedigree classes and a novelty class. Entries will be taken from 1.15pm and judging starts at 2pm.
