WINCHESTER’S McDonald’s branch is doing its part for the environment.
Volunteers from the fast food restaurant on St. George’s Street will be picking up litter as part of a Hampshire-wide campaign to get the streets clean.
Managers hope the clean-up will encourage members of the local community to take responsibility for keeping their neighbourhood litter-free and take pride in their local environment.
Franchisee Tony Bennett and his team started the clean up at 10am July 23 in the city centre.
