A MINIBUS has been involved in a crash on a Hampshire motorway, leaving nine people injured and traffic chaos for thousands of motorists.
The M3 is closed southbound between junctions five and six, following the incident at about 10am.
The crash happened on the southbound carriageway and there are currently delays of up to 90 minutes. Trapped traffic is being turned around.
Police said the M3 is likely to remain closed until mid-afternoon.
Drivers are being warned to expect delays on the A287 and A30, which have been designated as an alternative route for drivers trying to avoid the closure.
The Hampshire Air Ambulance is landing on the northbound carriageway, with two of the victims' injuries described as serious.
