WINCHESTER schoolchildren could be after jobs at the Hampshire Chronicle soon.
Pupils at Oliver’s Battery Primary School created their own newspaper on Tuesday (july 9) as part of ‘The Big Write’ project.
They investigated stories during the morning, going around the school looking for scoops, before writing their articles in the afternoon.
The project is about encouraging children to be passionate about writing and pupils chose the newspaper topic themselves.
