Vandals damage trees near Winchester cathedral
POLICE are investigating criminal damage to nine trees within Winchester Cathedral grounds.
A large amount of bark, about A4 size, was removed from the trees overnight on June 27.
Officers believe an unknown implement was used and are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time.
Anyone with information should contact PCSO Rebecca Williams from the Winchester City Safer Neighbourhoods team by calling 101.
