IT might not have been the furthest school trip they will take but these Winchester students still enjoyed a change of scenery.
Geography GCSE pupils from Kings’ School went on a whistle stop tour of Southampton at the end of June.
They visited 12 different boroughs of the city, looking at the types of buildings and homes and how Southampton has changed over time.
It was part of an advanced course alongside their GCSE studies and included a stop at the Stoneham Green eco-development in Mansbridge, where houses will be built to Sustainable Homes Code 6.
The trip will provide case study material for their exam in January 2014.
