Winchester pensioner attacks couple, court hears
A WINCHESTER pensioner has appeared in court on assault charges and possessing CS spray.
John Wood, 78, of Romsey Road, is alleged to have assaulted George Kirsopp and Marjorie Kirsopp and been in possession of CS spray, all on April 1.
Magistrates at Basingstoke transferred his case to crown court and Wood is due to appear at Winchester on July 23. He was remanded on unconditional bail.
