THE University of Winchester is holding an unusually colourful conference this month.
The 22nd symposium of the International Colour Vision Society (ICVS) is being held there from July 14 to 18.
A group of colour experts - including visual scientists, optometrists, ophthalmologists, psychologists, physiologists, geneticists, physicists and engineers – will explore issues surrounding colour vision, ranging from the molecular to the cognitive.
Dr Valérie Bonnardel, Reader in experimental psychology at the university, and chair of the Colour Group of Great Britain, said: “The University of Winchester is providing a prime location to host the 22nd biennial symposium for which we anticipate a great success.”
