AT first glance it might look like a Roman mosaic.
But on closer inspection, the pieces are not made of tiles, but Lego.
On Friday (June 21) pupils at Sparsholt Primary School were joined by Robin Ilses and Isabel Keating from Winchester City Council's museum service.
The children have completed a LEGO version of their school logo and their efforts have now gone on display in the school hall.
It was part of the LEGOMania Trail run by museum services throughout the county, with children creating individual squares of LEGO pieces during a series of workshops Robin Iles, education officer at Winchester City Council museum service, said: “This is a way of reaching out to people and children who might not normally go to museums but who are fans of things like LEGO.
“We hope once they see what we have to offer they will like what they see and become new visitors.”
