TEN gardens great and small will be throwing open their gates in a Test Valley village this weekend.
Broughton Open Gardens which runs from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday (June 23) will be raising money for the village church, St Mary’s.
The church itself, which will be packed with floral displays and its dovecot will also be open to the public as will allotments and other attractions in the village.
Afternoon teas will be on sale in the village hall from 3pm and the village bus will be operating a free shuttle service round the village for the afternoon.
Tickets for the event are £7, available on the day at the village hall.
