VILLAGERS at Netley Marsh are putting the finishing touches to their exhibits for Saturday's (June 15) carnival and fete.
Carnival-goers will gather outside the Gamekeeper pub in Woodlands Road at 1.30pm for the start of the show which is themed on children’s songs and nursery rhymes.
Throughout the afternoon entertainment continues at St Matthew’s Church field where a summer fair will be staged and the Spotlight Choir will be singing at the event along with the group Ella and the Barbers. This includes a barbecue, cake, craft and plant stalls together with traditional games. To end the festivities, there will be a barn dance in the church hall from 7.30pm until 10.30pm.
