AN ALRESFORD nursery is having a Mad Hatter's Tea Party to celebrate its 20th anniversary on Friday June 21.
To mark the occasion Patchwork Day Nursery and Pre-School is inviting past and present customers and staff to join the fun reunion from 3pm to 5pm.
In December last year, Nursery manager Nicola Baxter and her Perins School team launched a campaign to trace children who had attended the facility since it opened in 1993, along with their parents and past staff.
“We wanted to do something fun and memorial to mark the occasion, so by getting all who have contributed to Patchwork over the years together is a perfect way to celebrate”, she said.
“We have had a fantastic response with around 100 people wishing to attend which we are thrilled about.
The tea party will include an array of entertainment and games, catering for all ages.
The Pound Hill nursery provides childcare for 39 children aged six months to five years, with part-time and full-time places available.
“We are very proud of all of the work that has been carried out over the years by past and present staff to make Patchwork Nursery the success it is today” said Perins business manager, Clive Surry.
“This is a very exciting occasion and we want to hold a special party to show our thanks to all who have contributed to the achievement over the years.”
