THE Rotary Club of Chandler's Ford and Itchen Valley has organised a rare chance for a stroll around one of the UK's most admired water gardens.
Longstock Park Water Garden, near Stockbridge, will be open to visitors on Sunday, July 7, with all proceeds going to the Stroke Association.
The park was home to John Spedan Lewis, founder of the John Lewis Partnership, until his death in 1963.
The Water Garden is part of the Leckford Estate, owned by the John Lewis Partnership and its lakes are world renowned.
The gardens are open on the July 7, from 2pm to 5pm. Entrance, by donation, is £5 for adults or £1 for children
