CLASSIC car enthusiasts were out in force in Winchester last weekend.
The Southampton and New Forest branch of the Austin A30-A35 Owners Club hosted a three-day international rally at Winchester Rugby Club’s North Walls Park.
Rally secretary Clive Simpson said the event exceeded the club’s expectations with more than 200 cars on show.
He said: “This is an annual event and a different group hosts it in a different region each year. Normally you get between 120-150 vehicles but we had 160 booked in prior to the start on Friday (May 24) and we must have had more than 100 since then booked in at the gate. It’s been great fun.”
The club was also raising money for Winchester charity Friends of King Alfred Buses.
