Simon Harmer helps children at John Keble Primary School work on digital drawings
A HURSLEY school enjoyed a visit from a local artist recently.
Simon Harmer, author of illustrated book A Line Around Winchester, went to John Keble Primary School ahead of its special art week.
Simon, whose book contains drawings of various Winchester landmarks, showed children from Merdon Class how he creates each drawing in stages and helped children make their digital art.
A school spokesman said: “Year 4 and 5 thoroughly enjoyed meeting and learning from a local artist. They look forward to developing their skills further this week hoping to impress Simon with the results.”
