Winchester councillor wins charity balloon race prize
A WINCHESTER City Councillor has won £100 after winning a balloon race.
Cllr Colin Chamberlain, who represents Bishop’s Waltham, scooped the prize after his balloon travelled furthest after more than 200 were released at a launch at Wickham Primary School last month.
The winning balloon was recovered from Bognor Regis and the launch raised more than £1,200 for the Mayor of Winchester’s charities.
