Pensioner in custody after admitting assault
A PENSIONER from a village near Alresford has been remanded in custody after admitting attacking a woman.
Clive Hunt, 72, of Lymington Bottom Road, pleaded guilty to assaulting Valerie Hunt on April 1 when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
Magistrates remanded him in custody after hearing he had made threats and was likely to reoffend.
They also ordered a pre-sentence report for the next hearing, due on June 6.
