Young woman assaulted in Winchester
A WOMAN has been assaulted while walking home in Winchester.
The 19-year-old was walking along a footpath to the rear of Peninsula Barracks towards St James Lane on Saturday, May 11, when she was attacked by a man.
She escaped unharmed and ran off towards St James Lane. The incident occurred between 10pm and 11pm and the man is described as white and between 5ft 11ins and 6ft 2ins tall.
