A high-powered panel of NHS and local authority managers has been lined up for a Question Time style event dealing with issues affecting the over-50s.
The Q&A session has been organised by older people’s forum STOIC at the Age Concern Hall, in Linden Road, Romsey next Friday (May 24) The panel will be made up of Sue Knight, transport lead Hampshire County Council, Dr John Duffy, clinical director for long-term conditions, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Ruth Dixon, deputy director of adult services, Hampshire County Council, Andy Ferrier, corporate director, Test Valley Borough Council, Dr Simon Dixon, clinical executive director for long-term conditions and patient and public involvement lead West Hants Clinical Commissioning Group.
Anyone who would like to submit a question, with their name and contact details, should drop it into Age Concern in Linden Road, Carers Together in Love Lane, Romsey or the offices of TVBC at the Old Magistrates Court, Church Street, Romsey. Alternatively email lrice@testvalley. gov.uk.
The deadline for questions is 5pm next Wednesday (May 22).
The event, which is open to anyone with an interest in issues concerning older people, will run from 2.05pm to 4pm. Free tea and cake will be available.
