A FORMER senior manager at a Winchester special school has appeared at crown court accused of fiddling work timesheets.
Linda Whittaker, 65, of Lovedon Lane, Kings Worthy, is alleged to have whilst acting as bursar at Osborne School abused her position by submitting false timesheets for overtime, including enhanced rates, for herself, Patricia Hickman and Anthony Whittaker, between January 1 2008 and September 19 2012.
She appeared for the first time at Winchester Crown Court today for a brief five-minute preliminary hearing.
The judge, Mr Recorder Michael Parroy QC, adjourned the case for a plea and case management hearing on July 9.
Edward Phillips, prosecuting, said a trial was looking likely with a scheduled date of the week commencing August 12.
Whittaker was remanded on unconditional bail.
