A CYCLIST has died after losing control of his bicycle on a New Forest road.
Police say the 69-year-old from North Baddesley was cycling along Forest Road close to the village of Nomansland on Sunday morning when the accident happened.
It’s understood the cyclist, who has not been named, crashed into a ditch and was thrown off his bicycle.
He suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
Anyone with information about the accident, which occurred at about 9.10am is asked to contact PC Tony Clifford at Totton Police station on 101, quoting Operation Republic.
