CONSULTANCY and construction company Mace has opened a new office in Winchester.
The office will be headed by Peter Boote as director, supported by Tom Brooker-Corcoran as engineering services director and Ian Harrison as associate director. All have joined from Davis Langdon.
It will enable Mace to deliver more projects in the region.
Mr Boote spent 23 years at Davis Langdon where he was a regional director managing nine offices across the south of England.
Mr Brooker-Corcoran led their southern region engineering services team providing specialist advice to key clients such as Marks and Spencer, B&Q, Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz, Vestas and Hampshire County Council.
All three had major roles in Davis Langdon’s sustainable office consultancy offer and worked on many significant schemes with leading design teams in the UK and across Europe for several clients including Hampshire County Council (Queen Elizabeth II Court), B&Q, the University of Southampton/Lloyds Register, Vestas and Hochtief Developments.
Mr Boote said: “Mace has demonstrated strong performance and remarkable growth in what has been a very tough time for the industry and it is clear that it has achieved this by really listening and responding to the market and delivering a service that is client-focused.
“I was attracted by Mace’s innovative and entrepreneurial spirit but also its passion in the UK, the public sector and sustainability. I look forward to further strengthening the Mace Cost Consultancy offer across the UK where there remain many good opportunities if you can deliver real value.”
