CATT Edward Charles Passed peacefully away on 13th January 2024, aged 97. Beloved husband of Mildred Helen. Much loved father of Dave, James and Lois. Loving grandad and great-grandad. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. His funeral service will take place at 4pm on Monday 29th January 2024 at Test Valley Crematorium, Romsey. Family flowers only, but donations are gratefully received for Alzheimer's Society and can be made via www.ahcheater.co.uk or sent to A.H Cheater, 122 The Hundred, Romsey, SO51 8BY.Tributes

Dear Ted
I’m so glad to have known you, both you and mum made me feel very welcome since the very first day we met, calling me a “curly” one (due to my curly hair) and even giving me a little stool to put my feet on cause they couldn’t reach the floor when I was sat on your settee. I will always remember (and cherish) the time we went to pick up the fish and chips and you instinctively put your hand out to hold my hand as we crossed the street, of course I went with it, it felt natural, then when we got to the other side, we had a giggle cause that’s what you did with mum, always held her hand.
P.S - I know how much you loved my selfie stick (as you roll your eyes, haha) I’ve added a photo of one I took with you.
You will be missed dearly, such a great age.
