Barbara Longlands

LONGLANDS Barbara Barbara Longlands died at her home in Ropley on 9th September aged 86 years. Barbara had lived in Ropley since 1972 and was an active member of the local community. She was church organist and choir mistress in Ropley for many years. She was also an examiner for the Royal School of Church Music's Chorister Awards, and was a long term member of Winchester Music Club. She founded and ran Woodlands Kindergarten in Bramdean, and in her retirement volunteered as an advisor for Citizens Advice and Membership Secretary for the Lancia Motor Club. She was resilient, generous and kind and we miss her dearly. Barbara's funeral will be held at 11am on 17th November at Basingstoke Crematorium.
