PEARCE Raymond Passed away peacefully at home on 11th May 2023, aged 84 years. Much loved husband of Barbara. A dear dad to Mark, Ian, Bryan and partners, cherished grandad of 10 and a great grandad of 6. Funeral Service at Wessex Vale Crematorium, Hedge End on Friday 9th June at 10.45 am. So sorry to hear of the passing of Ray.
I have fond memories of working with him at Habels in Winchester.
He was a kind and caring man, full of joy and very much family orientated.
My heartfelt condolences to Barbara and the rest of the family.

Ray and I worked together for all his 28 years as a Winchester City Councillor, including his term as Mayor in 1994-95. I was an officer at the Council and coincidentally we both 'retired' in 2014. Throughout all those years, Ray was a super chap to know and to work with; very practical and full of common sense, but could always see the funny side of those daft situations which local government often produces! Very sad to hear of his passing and condolences to his family.
