GOLDIE Rose Our dearest Mum, Nan, Nanny Rose and friend to all. Passed away peacefully at Westholme on 26th December 2022 aged 95 years. Funeral Service will be held at the Salvation Army Hall, Winchester on 18th January 2023 at 11am followed by refreshments at the Winchester Club Worthy Road. Family flowers only please. Rose was our neighbour, baby sitter and surrogate mother/grandmother for 25 years. An inspiration on how to get the most out of life and how to carry off some funky clothing. She was a huge part of our lives and we will miss her always, Kate, Bridget, Elvis and Lola.

Many fond memories of “Auntie” Rose when we were children at Winnall. My mum (Hilda Alexander) was teenage friend of Rose and when we were small we used to visit with Mum. Always busy, smiling, and made the most wonderful beef casserole!
