FAHY Professor Emeritus Francis John 'Frank' Frank passed peacefully away on Saturday 16th April 2022, aged 85 years. He was much loved and will be greatly missed. Funeral service to take place on Thursday 12th May, 11.30am at A.H Cheater Garden Chapel, Romsey. Family flowers only. Donations, if wished to Medecins Sans Frontieres and can be made online at www.ahcheater.co.uk or sent to A.H Cheater, 122 The Hundred, Romsey SO51 8BY.

Very sorry to hear that Frank has passed away. Besides being a friendly and approachable colleague, I had huge respect for the excellent contribution he made to acoustics, especially via his books such as Sound and Structural Vibration which remains a constant source of reference.
