MORGAN John Passed on 10th March 2022 aged 76. Beloved husband of Penny - married for 54 years - wonderful father of Leo and Bryn and father-in-law of Phuong and Quin. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him - a loyal, kind and generous friend, talented artist and former Vice Principal of Peter Symonds College and current Governor of Henry Beaufort School. Cremation service to be held at Test Valley Crematorium on 31st March at 3:15pm. No flowers. Donations, if desired, to Barnardo's. Enquiries to A.H. Cheater, Funeral Directors, Romsey, SO51 8BY

John taught me when I was a student at Brockenhurst Sixth Form College in the early 1970's. I will never forget his kindness, humour and quiet encouragement which helped me to gain confidence in myself and my abilities and to go on and make a career as an art historian. He was a wonderful man and devoted himself to a life in education and to his family. I will always be grateful to him, he was a very important part of my life.
