WILCOX Roger Passed away peacefully on the 20th of March 2021 aged 85 years in Southampton General Hospital. Roger was an army officer for 35 years getting a commission at Sandhurst, Royal Military Academy, first serving with the South Wales Borderers before transferring to the Royal Army Pay Corps. After retiring he had several years devoting his time to some local charity work with Naomi House Children's Hospice and the Gratton Trust in Sutton Scotney. He had a passion for sailing, representing the army on many occasions and a keen interest in wildlife, particularly bird watching. He was also very keen at fly fishing, an activity he was able to continue until recently. Loving Father of David and Phillip and Grandfather to Destiny, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Family flowers only but donations in Rogers name can be made to the RSPB using the just Giving link.
