MEARS Derek Former Verger of Romsey Abbey Died suddenly on 21st September 2020 aged 83. Much loved husband of the late Frances, father to Helen and brother to Pam. He will be very sadly missed. Private family funeral to take place on 8th October 2020. Memorial service to be held at Romsey Abbey at a later date. Family flowers only but donations if wished to Cancer Research UK may be sent to A.H. Cheater Funeral Directors, 122 The Hundred, Romsey, SO51 8BY.
