THE Bone Supremacy will be appearing at the Concorde Club in Eastleigh on Wednesday, June 3.

This line-up of leading trombonists is breathing new life into the UK jazz scene with some hugely entertaining music.

There are four regular trombonists in the group: Ian Bateman, Adrian Fry, Andy Flaxman and Chris Gower.

The “Bones” are joined in this concert by guest player, Alistair White, former winner of the Royal Sun Alliance Young Jazz Musician of the Year. The rhythm section of the group comprises of John Pearce on piano, John Day on bass and Pete Cater on drums.

The evening will be a welcome to return to the Concorde Club for Adrian Fry, co-leader of the group.

He grew up in Southampton and his mother, Pat Fry, worked at the Stoneham Lane venue for many years.
