ENJOY the lazy, hazy days of summer with Three Men in a Boat, the stage adaptation of the classic novel by Jerome K Jerome.
Guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages, this comic drama by Daniel O’Brien is presented by Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds.
They will be performing the show at the Theatre Royal in Jewry Street, Winchester.
The story tells of J, George and Harris, joined by Montmorency, the dog, who decide that they are all rather overworked and in need of a holiday.
The result is a boat trip down the River Thames, during which the men reflect on their lives and activities as they scull down the waterway.
Audiences have the chance to share in their adventures and discover the mysteries of Irish stew, endure Harris’s rendition of Gilbert and Sullivan and keep well clear when they try to open a tin of pineapple.
Three Men in a Boat is playing at the Theatre Royal on Wednesday, June 3, and Thursday, June 4, at 7.30pm each night.
Tickets are £17, concessions £15, and friends £14.50. For further details or to book tickets, call the box office on 01962 840440 or visit www. theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk.
