The Chesil Theatre, Winchester, is delighted to play host to singer and actor, Rebecca George, for an evening of musical storytelling.
The performance will be on Friday, May 29, at 7.45pm This cabaret-meets-theatre performance will feature many different musical genres to create a unique evening. The songs of Cole Porter to Stephen Sondheim and other such legends of American musical theatre are woven together to make a melodic fabric of a musical journey through life and love.
Rebecca comes to the UK having worked in theatre in the US for over 10 years.
Appearing with greats as Robert Goulet and Mickey Rooney, Rebecca has starred in shows including 42nd Street, South Pacific, I Do, I Do!, and Kiss Me Kate. She has toured the US and Canada in a variety of roles, earning praise from producers and critics alike. She is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music in New York City for voice performance and holds a Master of Fine Arts in acting from the University of Arizona.
Rebecca will be accompanied by Peter Bassett on the piano. “I am thrilled to be bringing my musical passion to the Chesil, Winchester, in my newfound home here in the UK,” she said.
