THE Fureys and Davey Arthur are playing at The Anvil in Basingstoke at 7.30pm on Sunday, April 26.
The group celebrated their 30th anniversary last year, having been formed in 1978 literally by accident.
George, Paul and Davey were playing in Denmark with their own band while Eddie and Finbar were in Germany and involved in a road crash.
George, Paul and Davey travelled to be with their brothers and it was then that they decided they should be playing together.
The band was an instant success and while changes have occurred over 30 years, George, Eddie and Davey Arthur have continued to delight audiences and release albums.
Their hits include When You Were Sweet 16, The Green Fields of France, The Old Man, Red Rose Café, From Clare to Here, Her Father Didn't Like Me Anyway, Leaving Nancy, and Steal Away.
Tickets for The Fureys and Davey Arthur are priced £17.50.
