THE revival of the BBC’s Grand Prix theme tune might have helped to rekindle enthusiasm for Fleetwood Mac’s music.
For those who want to hear more, the tribute band, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, is coming to Basingstoke.
They will be performing at The Anvil at 7.45pm onwards on Friday, April 17.
In one evening of polished musicianship, the group will chart the songs of Fleetwood Mac from their inception in 1967 with Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie.
The show then progresses through the critically acclaimed Rumours album of the 1970s that featured Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. It then moves on to more recent works in the 1980s and 1990s. Call 01256 844244 or visit www.anvilarts. org.uk for more details.
