CLAIRE Harrison's art has always been inspired by landscape, Hampshire's in particular as that is where she grew up.
However, what makes it stand out is that she takes natural forms, not normally seen by the naked eye, and combines them in brightly-coloured, sensuous imagery that, she says, is a metaphor for the contemporary landscape.
Claire, who has a studio in Farnham, having graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design University College six years ago, is exhibiting some of her latest work at The Tower, Winchester, until August 3.
She uses painting and mixed-media techniques, including photographic and digital to recreate flora and fauna in a partially-fractured abstract form.
Claire says she is currently using complex layering techniques in her painting.
