TWO young brothers hope to jazz up Awbridge next month. Jazz duo Cody Moss and his brother Jaz have performed at top London venues and on April 12 they will be appearing in concert at Awbridge Village Hall.
Awbridge District Village Association is behind the Jazz Night which will have a New Orleans theme to it.
Both the Woking, Surrey-based Moss brothers are in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and they also play for the Julian Joseph Academy in London.
Jaz has taken up a scholarship at the Purcell School for young musicians in London and he has his sights set on studying at the world’s largest independent college of contemporary music in Boston, America and also to play professionally in the USA.
Cody plays the piano with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra at third tier level and is working on his trumpet skills. He has yet to determine his future career.
Tickets for the Awbridge Jazz Night cost £20 and are available from Lynda Tucker on 01794 340709
