TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
PART OF SAUNDERS LANE, AWBRIDGE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for pole and cable renewal works by BT, as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Part of Saunders Lane Awbridge from its junction with Cowlease Close for a distance of approximately 200m northwards
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: From the southern point of closure, south on Saunders Lane to its junction with Romsey Road; east on Romsey Road to its junction with B3084 Dunbridge Lane; north on B3084 Dunbridge Lane to its junction with Saunders Lane; south on Saunders Lane to the northern point of closure; and vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From Monday 29th October 2012 for a period of 3 months or until completion of works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above it is expected the closure will be between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 from Monday 29th October to Wednesday 31st October 2012.
Reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available while the works are carried out.
