TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE -

PART OF POUND LANE, AMPFIELD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for works in connection with works to the carriageway either side of the railway bridge, as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Part of Pound Lane, Ampfield for a length of 100 metres each side of the railway bridge.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: From the northern point of closure, north on Pound Lane to its junction with A3090 Winchester Road; east on Winchester Road to its junction with Hook Road; south east on Hook Road to its junction with B3043 Hursley Road; south on B3043 Hursley Road to its junction with Baddesley Road; south West on Baddesley Road Flexford Road to its junction with Pound Lane; north on Pound Lane to the southern point of closure; and vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 10 September 2012 for a period of 3 months or until completion of works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required daily from 10 September to 21 September 2012.

Reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available while the works are carried out.
